Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)

Inflammatory bowel disease is inflammation in all or certain parts of a person’s bowel. IBD primarily includes Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’sDisease.

Symptoms may include:

  • Severe Pain

  • Diarrhea

  • Weight loss

  • Fatigue

Ulcerative Colitis - an inflammatory bowel disease that causes long-lasting inflammation and possible ulcers inside the lining of a person’s large intestine and rectum.

Crohn’s Disease - another form of IBD that causes inflammation of the lining of your digestive tract that often spreads deep into the affected tissues and can involve different areas of the digestive tract, the large or small intestine, or both.
